Where can I download an old version of the library, prior to version 3.x (with support for SSL on port 5223).

Hey guys,

We keep all the old versions on the site. You can simply hack the download URL.

So,

http://www.igniterealtime.org/downloads/download-landing.jsp?file=smack/smack_2_ 5_0.zip

for example.

Hi matt. The link u gave for old versions of smack api results in a http 404 error. Is there any alternate link?

should be the right syntax.

The syntax of the link ‘‘http://www.igniterealtime.org/downloads/download-landing.jsp?file=spark/smack_2_ 5_0.zip’’ is right, it does take the user to the download page but somehow then before the download starts it is redirecting to the 404 error page. Can u verify that everything is alright with the link? or may be some place else from where to get the old versions of the Smack API?

Hi,

It looks like that URL is wrong. See that “file=spark”. Since you want Smack you should use “file=smack”.

http://www.igniterealtime.org/downloads/download-landing.jsp?file=smack/smack_3_ 0_1.tar.gz

This works for Smack 3.0.1 for Linux.
