Well, maybe we could blame Miranda on this…You see, the contacts got nuked on the ICQ server, but they remained in my Miranda’'s contact list. Just the contacts, not the groups - so maybe this is where this comes from? Some of the contacts are totally “groupless”, some of them are in a group named " " (3 spaces)
Couldn’‘t it be that you send the client the new buddies, and it says "yep, I already have this icq# in my local list, so let’'s update this contact!" and it sends back what it did?
I’'ll try again with removing all icq contacts from miranda before using gateway.
Have just noticed that all my offline contacts (ICQ and Jabber) in Offline group have no icons. But those of ICQ who was online and has gone offline, their have grayed ICQ flower on the right side. So, maybe all offline ICQ contacts should have it? So it would be easier to distinguish between different networks. Because it seems it would take ages for Jive to make an option for offline contacts to stay in their groups
I remember seeing a few months back that Pandion (http://www.pandion.be) didn’‘t work with the wildfire transport, but it does work with the python transports. Pandion hasn’‘t had any releases in over a year, though reaxer says it’‘s still in development and will be released when it’'s ready, though with no promises (or even hints) on a date. http://forums.pandion.be/viewtopic.php?t=1910
