2 focuses

I have done this steps:

  • Create user: focus@ (local user or in the user backend, LDAP/AD).
  • Set the following system property via Web Admin Console (Server -> Server Manager -> System Properties), and value the password of the user focus@: org.jitsi.videobridge.ofmeet.focus.user.password
  • Configure the focus user as “conference admin” via Web Admin Console (Group Chat -> Group Chat Settings -> Administrators)
and restart openfire (3.10.3). When openfire started, my focus domain user appeared on tab “Sessions”. But when user1 logged by ofmeet, second focus apeared on “Sessions”, so that user1 and user2 don’t see each other.

Second focus is normal behaviour. Each conference room has it’s own focus user. Look at your chrome and openfire log files. Something else is the reason

I’m watching black window of my participant. He is watching me as “black window” too. There are neither video nor audio. Firewall is off. Chat is working, BUT! messages is repeating every 10 seconds ) What does it means ?

Mesaging repeating is fixed in latest code.

There were changes to MUC that have broken Openfire Meetings. For example, message repeating happens with password protected rooms.

Blank video and no audio could be several reasons. Refresh and if the same, check chrome logs.

Check the admin summary web page. Confirm a videobridge was created and a MUC chat room was allocated, check number of participants and confirm chat room has the same including focus user.

I have run OF without AD. Same problems. Messages is still repeating. No video, no sound. Focus user and MUC was allocated.

Here is chrome log:

sorry, not enough information to figure out the problem. Did you check the admin web page for openfire meetings summary as suggested

There no any logs in admin console.

Closed. Go to OpenMeetings.
