I moved my wildfired 2.4 server on a new Linux server. On my old server, wildwire took only one java process. Now on the new server, it takes 29 threads. Why ?

Hum ok but I’'m using the same distrib (Debian Sarge 3.1) and the same JVM (same version but with different update version : the old server was update 4 I think and the new update 6 of JVM).
Is it still normal ?

I didn’‘t realize you were using the same distribution as before. There have been url=http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/ReleaseNotes.htmlsome changes[/url] between 1.5.0_04 and 1.5.0_6 that involve threading but I’‘m not sure if any of them would change the way threads are counted. It’‘s nothing that I would worry about but if you’'re curious you could always install the same JVM you were using previously and see what happens.
