3.1.0 Setup fails to test/properly configure LDAPS

In 3.1.0, try configuring setup for LDAPS using port 636. (Use non-default port number, and click the “Use SSL” advanced option.

Try “test connection”. It will fail.

Make sure to recheck SSL. Then install anyway.

You can’'t login.

Now edit ~jive/conf/wildfire.xml and notice that . Fix it.

Now you can login.

This is a bug in the setup screen for LDAP.

Thanks for the bug report. The issue JM-878 has been filed and fixed. The bug fix will be available in the next nightly build or you can wait until this Thursday when Wildfire 3.1.1 is released.
