3.2 Upgrade broken

After upgrading Wildfire to 3.2, (Win 2K3 server), I am reciving the following error message during Wildfire startup, and Spark clients are not able to connect in our production environment. Clients recive a bad uername/password error. I’‘m using AD authentication, and all AD tests pass. I’'m able to enumerate all AD accounts when clicking on Users/Groups in the admin console.

The first line is jumbled, but I think it is daying it’‘s a version 5 database and it shouldn’'t be. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Christian

Which version of Wildfire were you upgrading from?

First thing I notice is that the plugins are giving you issues, remove all plugins from your plugins directory. There are new versions available for 3.2.

I had the same problem, it’'s the plugins. Log into the Admin Console and update them and it should enable the users to log back in.

Word of caution! There is a ‘‘procedure’’ to upgrading your plugins–especially if you have enterprise installed.

Here is the upgrade document:

Unfortunately, I didn’'t see your posts until after I wiped my database. However, I still had the old plugins installed, and it was causing a problem, so I removed the plugins and I can now log clients on to the server.
