Able to access OpenFire Console but not the Chat

Hello OF community,

I am new to open fire need your valuable advise to solve my problem for Chat, I can access the the open fire console but not the chat. This problem started after changing the chat server name. Any heads up? quickly?

What name did you change exactly? The hostname of the server that’s running Openfire, or the name of the XMPP domain that Openfire is serving?

You can use DNS SRV records to define what server (hostname) provides an XMPP server (Openfire) that is providing the service for the XMPP domain. If your server changed it’s hostname, you probably want to check out your existing DNS SRV records (or put some in place, if you don’t have any).
