I have downloaded the openfire source code , where can i find the codes that connect openfire to the data base like building the connectionstring to the data base ???

where is that code located ?

Hi,

It is located in database folder. Have you ever looked at code?

Most of it is in:

src/java/org/jivesoftware/database

Then the connection stuff is in the DefaultConnectionProvider
