Access restriction

I need to install a chat system in my company and I need to restrict access to the users. I want to avoid my employees to chat with their friends, this will only be for business use. Communication has to be restricted among employees and customers.

Is this possible with this application?

What messenger clients can be used?

Yes, this is supported. Just disable the ability to create new accounts remotely and only create user accounts for your employees/customers. You can use any client that support XMPP. Visit jabber.org for a large list. I would recommend Pandion, Trillian, and Exodus on Windows.
