Admin Webinterface login does not work after new install

Hi,

I cannot login to the webinterface. I made a new Install several times and also tried some of the possible solutions for this problem I found in other threads. It really drives me crazy, the password just does not work. What kind of strange bug is this??

Do you mean you have restarted the server after the setup before trying to login? What username are you trying to login with? It should be admin.

Same problem here… tried redoing setup and still cannot login… with embedded database windows server 2003 sp2 and latest rev of openfire tried restarting server too no luck… it saying setup complete, moves to login page and then you cannot login…

OK, I fixed the issue, not sure really what I did, restarted again and it took

This is a bug in 3.6.4. When it shows a button to Login page, you have to restart server right away and do not push that button.
