After Openfire service restart, SSO Login temporarily fails and kicks user out of SSO option

I am in the testing phase of setting up Openfire to support our company and I ran intoa slight issue. We have SSO setup and will be pushing out Spark with the proper config so the user has nothing to do, just the next time they turn their machine on it will sign them into spark.

I found a small problem today and I am not sure if there is a way to fix it. If I restart the service, and after the service kicks on if I try and log in the login fails (in may fail without SSO for a while to, I haven’t checked) but it kicks SSO option out and allows the user to manually login.

This isn’t a huge problem but I can see a few helpdesk calls down the road if a user tries to log in and then fails because the service is down and then tries to login later and doesn’t know to re-check SSO.

Should I just make spark.properties read only? Would this fix this problem or is there a better way of doing this?
