I am installing windows updates on Server 2012 r2 and each time it restarts I have to set up Openfire 4.2.1 from the beginning. Why isn’t it saving the configuration after a server restart?
This might be a permissions issue, when a user running Openfire process doesn’t have rights to write changes into a folder with config. If you run Openfire with a launcher, try running it with Run as admin.
