If you squeeze the spark window vertically, you will notice nonalignment with the bullets against the contacts in the spark.

Not sure if your explanation really puts forward what is happening too well so let me provide some pics and a better explanation for everyone.
If the contacts name is wider than the contact list, the contact no longer lines up with other contacts in that group, it pushes it as far left as it can, ie. http://ignite.digitalignition.net/spark.jpg
I think a better solution is to line it up as per normal, and provide a tool-tip on hover with the full name (only if its too long too fit).
