Hoping someone has run into this and been able to solve it.
Had to rebuild the machine that Openfire is on and finally got everything setup so that AD is used and everyone can log on successfully.
We previously had a group called “openfire” that populated the “all contact” into the contact list for everyone. When I setup everything and was finally able to browse all groups every group (not just this one) was empty. I deleted and recreated the group in AD and still nothing. Stopped and started the service and started from scratch clean install.
Any ideas? This has worked pretty simply the first time around.
