I came up with a simple patch to allow components to create nodes for pubsub.

I could not find the correct issue in JIRA.

I filed OF-80 to track it, hopefully Robin can have a look at it.

I have never dealt with components before, so I will have to look at that first understand them. Hopefully that isn’t too detailed and thus the issue can be resolved easily.

Patch seems pretty straightforward. I committed it.
