Apache Spark vs. Akka

Hi,

Would you be able to please tell me the what is the difference between Apache Spark and AKKA, I know that the two systems intended to programme distributed, yet I don’t see the connection or the distinction between them.
Also, I might want to get the utilization cases reasonable for every one of them.

Apache Spark (https://spark.apache.org/) is nothing to do with the Spark IM client (https://www.igniterealtime.org/projects/spark/index.jsp) which this forum is about.
