I’‘d like to suggest that the appendBrTag() method generates invalid xhtml. I’'d suggest it should follow the open/close pattern of all the other tags. Would you agree?
When I use it, it breaks pandion.

How does it break Pandion? (Is there an error message? Does it not show up?)
What XML does it generate? Check in Pandion’'s network traffic monitor by pressing F12.
