Asterisk-IM 1.3.1 and AstManProxy not working

Has anyone successfully setup Asterisk-IM to connect to the astmanproxy process instead of directly to Asterisk?

I want to use astmanproxy in order to avoid connections problems that can bring Asterisk down. By using the astmanproxy, I protect teh Asterisk process from public attacks,…

I installed and configured astmanproxy properly and when asterisk-IM logs in, it disconnects right away.

Any clues?

Hi,

astmanproxy has some limitations regarding compatibility. It does not support some features Asterisk-IM relies upon.

Usually you should make sure only Asterisk-IM (and other applications accessing the Manager API) has access to the Manager API port on Asterisk by applying restrictive firewall rules.
