When the Wildfire server is auditing your conversation, the Spark client should notify you in some way. A message like “this conversation is being audited” at the top of the window would suffice.

I would always expect that the servers log all traffic unless it is otherwise stated. And it’'s not just Wildfire but also jabberd, … - and none of the servers will notify you whether the conversation is logged or not.
