Auto disconnect (or auto logout) long idle clients

Hello,

We’d like the ability to auto disconnect (logout) users that have been idle for X hours. We’ve recently migrated to using Openfire (3.6.3) and Spark (2.5.8) and all is well except that Spark does not have an “log out after X minutes” option like most other Jabber clients. Is there a way to force this from the server side? It seems that “xmpp.client.idle” is designed for clients that stop sending updates. But Spark, and other clients that have not set this option specifically, still heartbeat even after several days/weeks of being idle. Trolling the posts and the Issue Navigator have proved unsuccessful. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
