Automated backup

Hello,

I’m using embebed db for my openfire server. I would like to be able to auto backup my users informations. Since a filesystem copy is not enough if I don’t stop the server first, the only method is to use the import/export plugin.

But I need to manually connect to the admin console and start the export. There is a way to program an automated task to export the data and then upload it to a ftp server ?

I use a product called syncback (free version) to backup the data. It does it live at ten minute intervals. No server stopping. I used the backup to migrate to a new server no problem. My config is Windows 2003 server, XP clients, AD 2003 for LDAP.
