Automatically populate Buddy list with Open Directories

Hi,

We have just switched to openfire for our Jabber server and everything is going well except one very

annoying thing. When new users are added the service needs to be restarted before the new users

appear in the other clients buddy/user list.

Setup :

  • CentOS 6.2 (32-bit) server running Openfire 3.7.1.1

  • LDAP intergration using Open Directories on OSX server 10.6

  • Client Software ichat on osx10.6 and osx 10.7

I followed a community thread http://community.igniterealtime.org/thread/41738 which seemed to work fine

except for this one issue.
