Bad request on localhost:7070/http-bind

I have installed openfire 3.6.4 and i can connect with normal jabber clients, such as pidgin, empathy, etc …

Now, my second step is to connect with a web-based client. When searching for clients, jwchat is the most used, i thought, but i can’t get it to work.

In my .log files, does not appear nothing about http-bind … And when hitting “localhost:7070/http-bind/” on my browser, the following output occurs:

HTTP ERROR: 400

BAD_REQUEST

RequestURI=/http-bind/

Powered by Jetty://

HTTP ERROR: 400

BAD_REQUEST

How can i make sure my http-bind is working?

I read in other threads about apache configs to rewrite localhost/http-bind/ to localhost:8080/http-bind/, but i thinks this is not my problem right now, anyway i tried to perform this redirect with proxy mod, and i get the same error.

Not a solution, but I have a similiar Error. Trying to connect to my server using http://:7070 I get:

HTTP ERROR: 404

NOT_FOUND

RequestURI=/

Powered by Jetty://

Looking forward to resolving this issue for both of us.*
