BaseDN on SBS Server

Hi.

Can somebody tell my, how i can get openfire running on a SBS Server?

I can´t load my users from the active directory.

My users are stored in: Mydomain.local,MyBusiness, Users, SBSUsers.

I try to configure the BaseDN on cn=Users,dc=mydomain,dc=local, but no users where found under this ldap location.

Here is a screenshot from my AD: My Active Directory

Sorry for my bad english, but i hope, that somebody understands my problem and can help me.

Thx Oli

The base DN shoul look like this: OU=SBSUsers,OU=Users,OU=MyBusiness,DC=Mydomain,DC=local

The admin DN can be as simple as someuser@Mydomain.local

Thank you, the connection now works.

Now i´m having another problem. I can´t map the users in the next step. When i try to do this, the error message “No users were found using the specified configuration. Try changing the base DN, user filter or username field.” appears.

What can i do?

Could you take a screenshot of the config steps for openfire so I can see what you are entering?

now i get it to work.

i used the ldapadmin and looked for the right path.

now i try to read the groups from the active directory. can you tell me the configuration for this step?

I have a nother question.

Can you tell me, how i can load the groups from the ad?

You should not have needed to change anything in the config for groups to work unless they are not contained with the base DN you set for your users. If they are in a different location you will need to make your base DN less specific.
