I installed Wildfire per the instructions but when I login to the admin section its connected to an IP thats not even on our Box so its binding to a IP that isnt even ours… How can we change it otherwise it wont work for us :’’(

You can use netstat to verify that Wildfire binds just to 127.0.0.1, ports 5222, 5223, 5262, 5269, 7777. It will anyhow display a wrong name (JM-783) in the web admin console.
well I didn’'t set it for 127.0.0.1 as that didnt work I set it to 18.104.22.168 but it still shows 22.214.171.124
Wildfire automaticly resolve your server IP from DNS of the server machine.
Check if the showed IP matches with the DNS/Server Name resolved IP.
would you please post your “netstat -an|grep 52” output?
okay got the issue fixed… Now can we only connect via the Spark Client? as our staff uses Trillian Pro and when we try to connect it starts to connect fine but comes back and says Authorization Failed
please post a new thread for this new question which is completely off-topic. I don’‘t know Trillian’'s xmpp plugin but as xmpp is an open standard every xmpp client should run fine.
