I installed OpenFire 4.4.1 on Windows 8.1 with XAMPP, Java 8. No problems during the install. I can open the admin console (9090) and wanting to initiate BOSH and HTTPBinding but cannot get past Bad Request. I read the other articles and implemented HTAccess proxy; added a crossdomain.xml to the OpenFire conf directory; and set Syntax for BOSH. Netstat shows ports listening.
What else is there to configure within OpenFire?
Anyone have ideas? My objective is to use the XMPP server to connect with NextCloud for messenging.
