BOSH Load testing with 3.7.0

I am currently running Openfire 3.7.0 within a clustered environment of 2x servers. I am attempting to push 50k users onto one machine before Openfire starts complaining. However, I am finding that performance issues (Auth slows down, Admin console seems to hang) when I get around 25k.

Has anyone attempted to do any load test on the http-bind aspect of openfire before with high numbers? If so, can you share your setup along with settings? I am looking for the sweet spot whether it be in the JVM config or Coherence cache.

Any help would be very appreciated.

I am happy to get 65K concurrent users for single openfire(v3.9.1) node by tsung testing on TCP.

How do I do load test on http-bind/BOSH for Openfire?

I found a parameter,type, in tsung scripts as below:
