I am a newbie on this, so please bear with me.
I have virtual private server running Debian Linux. I had installed ejabberd 2.0 on it but recently moved to Openfire 3.6.3 version. I have also installed the IM Gateway plugin.
I have created 3 bots as users on the server. However, the bots randomly go offline after staying online for some 3-5 minutes. The normal users connected through remote IM clients stay online and connected without any problem.
This problem was not occuring when ejabberd was functional. I have not removed ejabberd from the server. I have just shut it down.
Any help on how to make the bots stay online would be very helpful.
