Buddy Icons?

Is there any way to get buddy icons to work?

Our server is Wildfire 3.2.1 and our users use GAIM 1.5.0

Gaim 2.0 supports vcard-based buddy icons.

Are these stored on the wildfire server somewhere? I’‘ve tried adding buddy icons to my client, but other users can’'t see it.

Gaim 1.5 does not support avatar icons (at least through the user interface). There is probably a way for individual users to hack their own installations to put in a different icon, though…

Gaim 2.0 allows you to set your buddy icon through the accounts->modify screen. You can have a different icon for each account, apparently.

Tried with gaim 2.0 beta, still no luck.
