There is a bug in the msi package, when you install it, the sound in the microphone doesn t work.
I had to install the exe instead.
Asterisk-IM is a plugin for Openfire. It does not ship as msi package, you download and install it through the Openfire admin console.
Please check if this is the correct support forum for your issue.
