Openfire 3.7 is driving me nuts. I’ve redone the installation six times and added LDAP accounts to the admin list. They even test successfully. Yet when I go to login, none of the accounts work. I cannot administrate the server. This seems to be a widespread issue with no solution.
have you made sure you add the full JID to the admin list ??
for example.
if you username is Errkal and you openfire server is call ErrkalIM.com you JID would be
Spark shows the users as @server. The JID corresponds. Still cannot login…
and your not entering the JID on the username box right ??
JID should be in the settings as who is an admin, but only need to use the username pulled from LDAP (no @server) when loggin in.
