Hi there,
First, as Its my firt message here, thanks for this great software : Openfire. It’s the 3rd Jabber Server I test. It is, from far, the most user-friendly, and the easiest to install.
I cannot say the same for Spark as I can’t test it because of the following error
I get an error “invalid username or password” when trying to connect from Spark to my fresh openfire install.
I did **NOT **get this error with other clients like Adium / Tkabber.
**Config **: 1 openfire server. 2 connection managers.
When activating debug from spark I get this :
Raw sent packets :
<stream:stream to=“allty.im” xmlns=“jabber:client” xmlns:stream=“http://etherx.jabber.org/streams” version=“1.0”>
<stream:stream to=“allty.im” xmlns=“jabber:client” xmlns:stream=“http://etherx.jabber.org/streams” version=“1.0”>
AG1hdHRcNDBhbGx0eS5pbQBteXBocDI1MDA=</ auth>
Raw received packets :
<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>stream:featuresDIGEST-MD5PLAINCRAM-MD5</stream:features>
**Strange thing : **It seems like I’m in fact connected (at least Openfire counts me as connected)
**In my openfire info.log :
2009.04.27 16:25:46 User Login Failed. PLAIN authentication failed
versions : OF 3.6.3 and Spark 2.5.8
Any help is greatly welcome
thank you
Matt
