Cannot run red5 plugin

Hello,

I am having a lot of trouble getting red5 to work on my Ubuntu 7.10 test server. We’ve installed the latest OpenFire and the Red5 plugin. I get 404 errors when I try to access the following URLs:

localhost:9090/red5

localhost/red5

localhost:8080/red5

I can access the plugin configuration page at localhost:9090/plugins/red5 but that’s it. Everything else with OpenFire seems to be working fine.

I’ve seen a number of people on this forum with the same problem but I have not yet read a solution that seems to work. I would appreciate any help on this, we are trying to deploy this for a large university library.

Thank you in advance.

I’m having the same issue.

I suggest you post your log file her and maybe somebody may be able to spott the problem. The versions of Openfire and the Red5 plugin would also help.

marknewell helped me in another discussion. I needed to change the openfire administation off of 9090 and move http-bind over to 9090 which let me use red5 in spark.

What version of Spark are you running? I can’t get the plugin to work for the current version, 2.5.8

2.5.8 and 3.4.3 of openfire Here’s the discussion that helped me…
