I’ve just installed OpenFire on a Debian Linux server. I can access the admin panel on port 9090 internally with http://localhost:9090. However, I can’t access it from another machine. I get a connection timed out error. Have disabled my firewall completely and tried changing the port to 8080 but the same thing happens. Any ideas? Many thanks.
Thank you. Have discovered that my ISP was actually blocking a lot of ports. Have changed to alternative ports and working now.
