Can't get back into admin console

It would appear I have thoroughly screwed my configuration and now I can’t even get back into the admin console.

What is the easiest way to start over?

Uninstall openfire, delete the c:\program files\openfire directory, then reinstall?

I think you can fix this by editing the file ‘openfire.xml’ in your configuration directory.

Change ’ and restart the server. You should then be able to connect to the default port on the host machine and walk through the config again, though Openfire will keep your old settings I think and you can just walk through and then change your password.

You are correct. That should fix it unless the database is damaged.
