I installed the upgrade to 3.8.0 today and now the users can’t see each other’s online status. Has this to do with the LDAP issue I read about (http://issues.igniterealtime.org/browse/OF-610)?
If so, how can I install a nightly build over my installation from the .deb package under ubuntu?
I copied my settings to a newly unpacked nightly build, started that and it seems to fix the issue. So my only remainig question is how do I update my installed version to the nightly build? Are there any .deb nightly builds?
Nope, but you could build your own - All the stuff to build packages is included in the nightly build, so you could use that. Don’t have any Ubuntu/debian systems, otherwise I’d try to build a deb of a 3.8.1 alpha.
