Hello all,
I am trying to start openfire as a service: /etc/init.d/openfire start
However, all it says is starting openfire. It doesn’t start or even gives me the correct status. I checked /etc/sysconfig/openfire and it all seems to be set to default.
The only way to start the script is to login to shell and execute* /opt/openfire/bin/openfire.sh*
The problem with the above is that I need to keep a shell window open somewhere. I can’t run it as a cron as it tends to start openfire all the time and overloads the CPU.
