We have an openfire server with authentication to our Active Directory server.
We need to change the field name (saAmaocountname) to the field where mail will be used as authentication in case the AD field corresponding to the email.
We performed the procedure below in openfire:
Server Menu -> Settings Profiles -> LDAP Directory Server
In Step 2 Mapping User
We changed the User Name Field field: from “sAMAccountName” to “mail”.
The problem with this is that the user profile is deleted, it is necessary to create a list of contacts again.
Is there any way to migrate that field without losing their contact list ?
