Hello everyone,

I wish change the “username” for a user but by openfire mananger web unsuccessful.

anybody has any tips about how change the “username” without loss any confuguration from that user ??

any tip is welcome.

You can’t change username. Though maybe it is possible to go through all database and change it in all places, but i think you can mess up it easily.

the main thing for me is import the user contact when that user is removed.

I’m add new users and I wish import all contacts from a user to that new user. I think this way should be solved my problem.

how can I import contacts from a user to other ?

I don’t know a way to export user’s roster and import it into a new user.
