We’re using AD authentication with group synchronization for our Openfire installation. I see LDAP group related errors and info in the logs that seem to indicate Openfire is attempting to synchronize our groups every couple of seconds. This seems like it’s causing unnecessary stress on our instance, as we are synchronizing LDAP groups that are very large.
Is there anyway to change the rate at which Openfire communicates with LDAP? Once an hour would be perfectly acceptable.
