Changing Servername

Hello,

i’ve just changed the Name of my Server (changed evry value of the old name to the new in the mysql database). and then restarted it.

Everything runs great but there is a ‘!’ in front of the Server name shown in the Admin-Panel (see atachment).

So the Question: What does that mean to me?

Configuration:

Openfire on Debian Etch

MySQL

Active Directory

I were abel to ‘remove’ the ‘!’.

So the solution was:

I think the ! shows up if there are SSL-Problems, maybe it also shows up if there are another problems. So what i did:

Stopping the Server

Updating / Creating a new SSL Certificate (see http://www.igniterealtime.org/builds/openfire/docs/latest/documentation/ssl-guid e.html )

Restarting.

That’s it.

edit:

after doing a reboot i can’t use the admin console via ssl which run quite good after only restarting the server with the new ssl certificates

i will test this again in about 2 weeks wenn i have more time
