Client Cannot LogIn


I have installed OpenFire on Windows Server 2008 Enterprise Edition. I also installed Spark (Client) on the server and logged in successfully. With the same settings, when I install on Client Machine, I get “Can’t Connect to Server. Invalid name or server not reachable.”

We are using Active Directory. I see all the users on Admin Panel on the Server and can log in on the server using Spark. The Client PC is connected to the domain.

Please suggest a fix. Maybe I missed something in setup.

It is more likely a firewall issue. Check the server 2008 firewall to make sure you allowed openfire through it.
