I am not sure, but i think you might have a shot with the ‘Client control’ plugin. by limiting said user to connect from only 1 client(resource). however if you are talking about VPNs, then no i dont think its possible from the Openfire side. for that you need fire-walling techniques.

Sorry, i talked with Guus(one of the Openfire lead developers) and he thinks that Openfire as of now doesn’t have such a mechanism(to limit a user connection to a single session).
