I am using Openfire 3.6.4 and got a problem with some sessions.
In the sessions overview I see sessions that have a status of closed, but presence is set to online. Also other users see these users as online.
The sessions stay there until the exact same client reconnects (probably with the same ressource name) and kicks out the old session.
Messages sent to these users are lost and never show up for the recipient.
It’s not possible to kill these sessions from the admin interface, the session is kept with the status closed and presence as online.
Some of these sessions have a “Last active” date that’s severall days ago.
The only way to get rid of them is to restart the server.
Is there a known problem for this issue? I was unable to find one that matches these symptoms.
