I am trying to stop our users from logging in with the same user account multiple times. Is this possible. I would like it to kick the original connection off if they want to sign on from a different location.
thanks

This is possible. there is a Resource Policy setting that can be set to always kick duplicate logins.
Hi,
Even i want this to happen with a notification that the previous session has been logged as the user has logged in new location … just like yahoo messenger which allows only one user login at a time for any given user …
How to set us this resource policy ?
Login to the server admin consol website. The lookif for Resource Policy under the main Server tab.
Hi,
do they use the same resource every time and get a “login failed”?
Or do they login with “/home” and “/work”? This is a standard XMPP feature and thus it can not be disabled.
