Clients can chat in conference room but not individual IMs

I’'m new to WF and am having some problems… I have WF installed on Fedora Core 5 and able to connect with clients and add buddies, but they show a pending status with error 404- server not found. I can get the clients to talk in a conference room chat just fine… Here is the message I am receiving in the debug window:

jabber: Recv (ssl)(183):

I have the server to server option disabled.

Any help would be greatly appreciated…

Hi,

While some clients auto-append the @xmpp.domain when users send a mere username for presence subscription, some others don’‘t. Looks like some of your users’’ clients don’'t do the auto-append but instead send something like .
