Hi,

I’‘m using JiveMessenger 1.1.0 (as I cannot use java 1.5) and when I close a session through the web interface I would expect the server to send out UNAVAILABLE packages to all the groupchats etc. However for some reaseon I don’'t get such messages. Is that normal, or am I missing something?

Hey Matt,

That problem was fixed but you will need to get the latest Messenger version. The version you are using is no longer being updated. Options I can think of are: 1) Copy the logic of SessionManager when detecting that a connection was closed but you will also need to fix other things or 2) Install a JVM 1.5 and use it for Messenger and get the latest version (unless you are in Mac).
