Is realiability of the CM desired? i.e. a CM fails,
do 10k get broken and half to reestablish? Can this
be done in java land?
Right. It’'s not really possible to have reliability in the CM. However, clients can be configured to transparently auto re-connect for a short period of time after disconnect. If they do that, they should be routed to another CM.
