hi,
i have got Jive running with a component say abc.myjabberserver.com. I have written this component as a plugin. This Jive has got s2s enabled, but when I send a message to @abc.myjabberserver.com from a user logged into another Jabber server, the message is not delivered to the component. is there anything which i am doing wrong here ?

Are you using Messenger for both servers? If so, do you have “External Components” enabled on both servers?

yes i am using jive messenger for both. but the search component which comes with jive works fine. the problem is with the component that i have written. search only uses iq packets. however my component uses message packets and presence packets too. could that be the source of the problem ?

It could be, but I wouldn’'t think that should be an issue. Are you seeing any errors in your logs?
