I’m running version 3.8.1 on linux. We’re using LDAPS 636 and active directory. I’m pointed to a single domain controller. User and Group enumeration work fine, but they take a few minutes to load. We need to be able to use the contact list group share feature, however, whenever we click on a group name, it just hangs. I’ve read around the forums and seen others with the same issue, but can’t find a resolution. We need to be able to use this feature as pre-popuated group of users is a prerequiste. Any suggestions. This may be a show stopper if this a bug without a resolution.
for whatever reason, ldap over ssl is very slow. connecting using the default port of 389 will fix the issue. but of course you loose the encryption.
